Murrieta/Boster Fun

My sister, her in-laws, and I headed to one of Murrieta's local farmer's markets.  We had a great time checking out the produce, local small business merchandise, lovely orchids, and of course the kettle corn!

After the farmer's market we headed to Ponte.  We had a fabulous lunch and saw some cute ideas for Oh Baby BLUSH!

Jamie and I managed to have time to create invites for an upcoming baby shower we are hosting!

Birthday Party Inspiration

...recently

My sister's wedding day "style" was published in the Fall/Winter 2010 edition of brides Southern California Magazine and we received it in the mail a couple of weeks back!  It was so exciting to see it in print; she made a stunning bride!  A lot of great and generous people played a significant part in making her "style" magazine worthy.  These people include: Vartan Kesheshian of Vartan's Fine Jewelry, Stacie Lynn of SLAM Faces and bridal styling by Oh Baby BLUSH!

Next home improvement project...

I joined a book club with all of the lovely ladies from my work this month!  I am looking forward to the next meeting which is mostly spent eating and drinking and a little time spent chatting about the book.

Sugarland at the Greek Theatre

My Mom, my bestfriend, and I have been dying for Sugarland to come into town! The minute we found out that they were the main act in the Summer Under the Stars concert we knew we couldn't pass up the opportunity. It was definitely a trek getting to the Greek Theatre but the venue was amazing and well worth it! We can't wait to see them again soon :).

Bedroom Inspiration

The pillow that brought the inspiration for my room to life!!!  I love the colors and whimsical pattern; it can bring so much fun to a space.  It already looks great against the pink sheets the Bosters (Brad and Jamie) gave me as a housewarming gift.  I cannot wait to coordinate with this awesome Pier 1 purchase!

My room will be scattered with combinations of shadow boxes and graphic art throughout!

I am having a tough time deciding between mirrored frames or empty frames for a headboard...let me know what you think!

A desk/vanity is a must...let's hope I find the room for it!

Bookcase decor will add to the storage and will be filled with fun and unique decorative items!
Creative hardware will add the finishing touches.

No room is quite complete without photos by trever hoehne.  I can't wait to purchase a few from his awesome collection.

Mother's Day at the Boster's

My sister, Brad and I hosted Mother's Day at their home this year.  It was a great experience to host our first holiday for the family!  I have definitely taken advantage of being a guest and I really appreciate all of the effort my mom and the other ladies in my life have put into the holidays!!!
We made my mom one of our family favorites...oven-baked pancakes.  They were delicious!

Spring Break

One fabulous perk of my new job is that I get an entire week off for Spring Break.  It has been a great time to catch up on last minute wedding preparations with my sister and mom.  I was  able to get out of the house and spend some time with family and friends and get caught up on...
well, LIFE!!!
We were able to taste at My Sweet and Saucy Shop and finalize the cake order!  The drawings turned out better than we expected and we cannot wait to see the final product (and taste it of course)!!!
While we were there we picked up some Easter treats!
Over the last year and a half Brad's family set up a "Honeymoon Fund" (piggy bank) for Brad and Jamie.  Mark and Debbie have cleaned out their pockets and coin purses for a while now and have collected a fair amount of spending money for these two!  A lot of people are to thank for donating to the fund :).  We had the pleasure of watching them "break" into the jar and count their savings over Easter.

This week was my week to pick and I decided to go with Indie Night.  We had a lot of fun listening to different music, eating late night Alberto's, and passing out on the couch.  Thank you for having us over Corey and Tyler!!!  It is always a blast.
Jamie and Kelcie were able to make their final decisions on florals and sign contracts.  It is a bit overwhelming picking out arrangements and centerpieces but everything is coming together beautifully.  Alex does amazing work at Beverly Blossoms!
Last but not least, my temporary roommate turned 26 on Monday!  I had the pleasure of accompanying her and her family to Riptide Sushi in Mission Viejo.  It was a great time filled with SAKE BOMBS, Sapporo, sushi, and shots.  Happy Birthday Stacie!!!
